I'm working on a desk!

I have a great desk, it’s big and has a beautiful view. But it’s also visible from almost every room in our house. If I let myself go a little and let my magazines, papers, and projects gather there for a couple of weeks, we are in big trouble. Because that desk needs to be a clean surface and because we have a giant closet downstairs that we’re not using, I’m going to turn that closet into a little desk area and sewing nook. I’ve been inspired by these desks.

Here are the sketches and beginnings of the desk and the closet getting a little coat of paint. It might be claustrophobic in there, but it’ll be a great place to organize projects, have a designated sewing area, keep everything together, and even let go and be messy... And then close that door! And no one needs to know. :)
