My Weekend

Hello friends! I’m back! I took a mini hiatus over the weekend while my family was here to visit. My awesome sister just got home from Italy last week, and we needed a mini sister-reunion, so almost the whole fam came to visit! We had a fabulous few days together, including trips to the thrift store, the lamp store, the hardware store, and of course, the mall. Side note – I really think my Mom should be a fashion blogger. Isn’t that a great look? Leopard print + fur vest. Yes. My sis could be a fashion blogger too. She taught me how to wear short boots with socks while she was here. Ooo!

 

I’m hosting a little shower in a few weeks for a friend who’s getting married, so we had one very girly morning playing around with how to set up the food and beverages and which vintage linens to use. This is my favorite combination. (More on this soon!) I can’t wait to show you the final product and a wonderful idea my husband came up with! Yes, he came up with an idea for a lingerie shower.

Aren’t these the cutest color blocking loafers! We found them at the thrift store. I walked away from them but went back at the last minute to grab them. I haven’t figured out what to wear them with yet, but they were too fun to pass up.
