We have a gallery wall of family photos in our basement, but I've been wanting to add a gallery wall somewhere in the main living room. The perfect place may have been staring me in the face this whole time - this a side table sort of divides the dining room (to the right) from the living room (to the left) in our open floor plan.
I have just a few pieces of sentimental art I want to play around with and I'm definitely going to adding more.
I mocked this up to play around with the placement before I go putting holes in the walls.
So which one do you like better? I can't decide!

I think #1 -- it flows better to me. I feel the cross looks like it's standing out there on its own in #2
ReplyDeleteI agree with Katie! Love #1! xo
ReplyDeleteI like #2 ( I like the cross standing out more) but maybe do you have another little something that could go in that space to the right of it?
ReplyDeleteI like option 2!
ReplyDeleteI like option 1 OR add something to the right of the cross in 2 like Shannon said. :)
ReplyDeleteOption 2 - without a doubt!
ReplyDeleteI like option 2. Love how you are embracing the thermostat and including it as part of the gallery wall!
ReplyDeletehaha thanks andi! I'm glad you noticed! I don't really want to put a frame around it or anything, so I'm just going to pretend it's art:)
ReplyDeleteah yes! i think i do! good thinking shan:)
ReplyDeletethanks, katie! i agree, it needs something else at the top with the cross in #2.
ReplyDeleteI vote Option 2! I love the proximity of the color palette and your sister's painting, and I like having the larger scale of the watercolor of Birch near the bottom of the assembly! I want to see that wall sometime soon!!
ReplyDeleteOption one is my favorite. I want a gallery wall in my house too:)
